Our Story

In 1983,  a core group of women began researching how to start a pregnancy center in Bay County and joined forces with Christian Action Council (CAC), now known as CareNet. Together, the Pregnancy Resource Center was founded and we began to server the women and men of Bay County and Northwest Florida.
We originally started on Magnolia Ave, then to 23rd for 8 years, then moved to Grace Ave for 15 years, until Hurricane Michael.
We now have a temporary location at 748 Harrison Ave, Panama City.
The center has had 5 directors; the current Executive Director is Pati Adams. Although the leadership and volunteers of the center have changed through out the years, our goal and mission has not changed. We are here to serve the women and men in Bay County to educate, encourage and support them in their crisis pregnancy.
